Lead Trainer: Ms. Elselien te Hennepe (who has already climbed Ama Dablam).

Climbing Student and Trekking Leader: Ms. Kandu Sherpa (who just graduated from the Nepal Mountaineering Association Langtang School, and has been leading treks for three years for HimalayaTrek.com).

Sherpa Women's Climbing Workshop 20 October, 2005 (b)

Here is a photo show our team setting up the tents at Island Peak High Camp at 5500 metres. We are reviewing all of the necessary climbing skills with our Women's Sherpa Team, this not only includes roped climbing and descending techniques, but also basic camping, trekking, cooking, and hospitality, safety and medical skills. We try to provide these Women Sherpas with the best possible foundation of fundamental skills and a wide range of experience. Thanks for your support!
